As a designer, I understand the demands that a designer places on a product, such as functionality, aesthetics, manufacturability, and user experience. But I am also aware of the urgency of the issue in terms of sustainability: both from an economic perspective in terms of market opportunities and competitive advantages, but especially from an environmental perspective.
